A recent client [Preloved Electronics] that we helped get unsuspended had come to us hoping we’d know what the issue with their account was. The individual who owns Preloved Electronics is selling used electronics in Denmark, and the reason for suspension seemed to have been from failing the business verification process. The account was suspended for Circumventing Systems Policies, and we were fairly certain what this client had done to get cited for circumventing systems. Google states that this policy entails the following: “Engaging in practices that circumvent or interfere with Google’s advertising systems and processes, or attempts to do so.”

Solution
Step 1: When working on a case like this, the Google Ads Suspended Process requires a thorough investigation before we attempt to appeal the case. We collected documents from the business owner, which included documents like the business license, business owner information, and any additional documentation to help verify the business properly. Step 2: For this case, Google Ads Suspended had found that Google Ads originally had technical issues processing the documentation from the original verification request. We then submitted an extended appeal explaining the mistake that had been made and kept in contact with the Google Policies team, following the case closely, communicating with Google and the client, and keeping track of updates. After submitting the appeal, we received a multiple emails from Google pushing back the appeal for technical issues, and it took about 1 month for the account to be unsuspended.
Summary
Because of the ‘technical issues’ from Google Ads’ end, it had taken them about a month to get things in order to unsuspend the account.
